Chinese Zodiac

The Snake    蛇

The snake is the sixth on the Chinese Zodiac. Some of the snake's characteristics are deep thinker, wise, mystic, graceful, soft-spoken, sensual, creative, prudent, shrewd, elegant, cautious, responsible, calm, strong, constant, and purposeful. The snake can also be loner, bad communicator, possessive, hedonistic, self-doubting, distrustful, mendacious, suffocating, and cold.

Even though you may be born in the year of the snake, you might not have these characteristics. These characteristics are based on the snake. When you think of a snake you probably think of a reptile that is very graceful and slimy. In the story of the great race, the snake was calm and cautious when it came up underneath the horse and startled it. It was very calm because when the horse was startled it didn't go out of control instead it graciously crossed the finish line.

Here are some of the years when it was the year of the snake:  If you are born in any of these years, you are considered a snake.
