The Ox

The ox is the second animal on the Chinese Zodiac. Some of the ox's personality characteristics are dependable, ambitious, calm, methodical, born leader, patient, hardworking, conventional, steady, modest, logical, resolute, tenacious. The ox can also be stubborn, dogmatic, hot-tempered, narrowminded, materialistic, rigid, and demanding.

Even though you may be the year of the ox, you may not have any of these characeristics. The stories of the ox show that the ox is a dependable person and works hard for what it earns, like in the story of the great race, the ox should have come in first because it worked the hardest to earn that place, except that the rat decived the ox and that is the reason why it is second on the zodiac.
